Bridge
Our original Bacci T-Style brass bridge gives the Leonardo Funk Machine an additional distinctive element. As in the traditional Telecaster, the strings pass over the bridge, then through holes in the body, and are anchored in place by a metal peg inserted into the body that holds the ball end of the string firmly in place. The bridge features a beautiful, unique concentric inlay, three compensated brass saddles, and is hand-finished.
Pick-ups
The Leonardo lineup features pickups designed by Bruno Bacci in partnership with Dreamsongs Pickups, a renowned Italian manufacturer with exceptional capabilities. Exclusive to the Leonardo Funk Machine, this guitar sports a pair of Humbuckers that deliver a wide range of sounds, from Jazz to Heavy rock. Plus, the innovative bass pickup captures the unique tonality of the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings, adding to the versatility of this remarkable instrument.
Dual Output
What inspired a second release of the Leonardo Funk Machine? While the baritone guitar already has a lower register than a standard guitar, Bruno Bacci's innovation has taken this instrument to new heights in the realm of sound. By connecting the second output to a bass amp, the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings resonate with a depth that emulates a bass guitar, amplifying both its volume and amplitude.
Headstock
The Leonardo Funk Machine features a headstock with a striking asymmetrical shape that complements the contours of the body. With a 9-degree angle that's been crafted to provide just the right amount of tension and vibration, this guitar is a marvel of engineering. And thanks to the precision of Hipshot's Open Back tuning machines, string tuning is guaranteed to be spot-on every time. Completing the package is a beautiful bone capo that adds the perfect finishing touch.
Construction
The lightweight Alder body seamlessly merges with a figured maple neck, creating an instrument that feels like a natural extension of the body..
Finetuning
Crafted by the skilled hands of Bruno Bacci, every instrument is meticulously assembled and fine-tuned to perfection whilst the tension and intonation are adjusted to ensure optimal vibration and precise sound definition
Scale
Our custom 29.75" scale
length enables a broad spectrum of low frequencies. Our 13/72 strings, supplied by DOGAL, a renowned Italian handmade strings company, are finely tuned to complement these attributes.
Case
All Bacci cases are custom-made and feature a retro colouring and steel Bacci logo.
